Golden Globes red carpet

The Golden Globes red carpet 2014 was overflowing with star power in Beverly Hills on Sunday night, and the annual "E! Live from the Red Carpet" special helped us keep track of who was wearing what. If you missed any of the fashion fun, check out our red carpet wrap-up below! Stay tuned for more coverage throughout the night, including a full winner's list.

Zooey Deschanel looked vintage glam in a love-it-or-hate-it Oscar de la Renta dress that featured full tulle skirts and a boxy, beaded top with a scoop neck. Her hair looked polished and super smooth, pinned up in a sassy side bun with a white rose tucked behind her ear. Nashville star Hayden Panettiere looked beautiful in a black and white color-blocked design by Tom Ford; the halter-style bodice and slit up the left leg flattered the svelte starlet's figure. Naomi Watts chose a slinky silver Tom Ford dress that featured sexy side cutouts. Jennifer Lawrence looked beautiful in a strapless white Dior creation that had black bands cinching her skirts for a half-glam, half-punk rock look.

Nominee Lupita Nyong'o was without a doubt the best dressed on the Golden Globes red carpet this year. The 12 Years a Slave actress and recent Yale graduate turned heads in a fire-engine red Ralph Lauren gown that managed both bare shoulders and floor-lengOur collection of designer Wholesale Cheap Satin strapless applique beaded mermaid wedding dresses ED5685 are the perfect compliment to your bridal party look.th cape. Her punky pixie-mohawk and simple jewels really allowed the dress to shine.

American Hustle star Amy Adams looked 70s chic in a color-blocked Valentino halter dress in two tones of red with her hair in a braided bun. Simply perfection! Taylor Swift swooped in and nearly stole the show in a cherry red Carolina Herrera gown that featured a black sweetheart neckline. Her hair was pinned up, allowing just a few perfect, golden curls to frame her face. Lena Dunham tried really hard this time, but the glam look just isn't working for her. Somehow, that becomes more and more painfully clear the harder she tries. The big, bright yellow mermaid gown didn't flatter a single one of the Girls star's curves. The simple diamond necklace she wore was the only highlight of Dunham's look, and the sparkle mercifully helped distract from what was going on below the neck.

2013 Was The Year The Stars Went Shirtless

Wanna know what your favorite pop stars WON'T be putting on their Christmas lists this year? Shirts. Why? Because they hate them. JK! Hate is a strong word. They just prefer not to wear them all the time. And based on the way some celebs have been stripping down recently, going sans shirt isn't just for the beach anymore—it's a full-blown, anytime trend.

"Once, in the long-gone 'Mad Men' days, it was considered de rigueur for New Yorkers to wear a hat and gloves in town," The New York Times commented on widespread shirtlessness in July. "Now dress codes have devolved to the point where folks wear fleecy slippers on the subway, flip-flops to the ballet, running tights for every occasion, repurposed pajamas as daywear and, recently, very little at all." First of all, what's wrong with wearing running tights for every occasion? Second of all, people are wearing flip-flops to the ballet?! Now THAT is cray. I feel much less embarrassed about showing off my new hamburger-shaped pasties at work. KIDDING, of course. Because much like the curtain skirt, walking around without a shirt is definitely a celebrity-centric trend that's best left to the professionals. Let's take a look to see how they've tackled it this year, shall we?

Believe or not, it's 100% legal for females in New York to walk around topless. (It's meant to ~encourage gender equality~ in public spaces.) So, while seeing someone like Rihanna out shopping in Soho wearing only a top-buttoned letterman jacket may seem a little salacious,This exhibition will trace the development of the fashionable white White satin sweatheart Beaded Applique a-line wedding dresses and its treatment by key fashion designers. she's barely even pushing the envelope by NYC standards. I mean, come on! This is the home of The Naked Cowboy, after all. (He's not really naked though,You will get a good surprise to find black & long sexy Discount Evening Dresses for sale 2014 are best sale on line. FYI. He wears tightie whities. Just sayin'.)

It is, however, pushing the envelope when it comes to sartorial trends. Seeing topless models on catwalks and in high fashion magazine editorials is nothing new—but seeing a star go without a shirt on the street? That's just a nip slip waiting to happen. In addition to Rihanna, the other stars on #TeamShirtless this year (like Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey) have also chosen to use outerwear as only-wear,Australias largest collection of Wedding & Bridal Dresses from your favourite national and international Discount A-line wedding dresses for sale designers. opting to go sans shirt under garments like tuxedo jackets, blazers and cropped leather vests. Bare (heh) in mind though, that these are some of the same celebs who are often seen without pants. (Or in the case of Miley's recent performances, rarely seen WITH pants.) So, taking the topless law to the limit definitely isn't out of the question.

Another way stars embraced the shirtless trend this year was with pasties. Turns out, they're not just for burlesque shows anymore! PHEW. I've been waiting SO LONG for the rest of the world to catch on to adhesive aerola covers, haven't you? I mean, look at all the different shapes and sizes they come in! Even better, they're totally versatile. In September, Miley Cyrus wore a circular black pair under a long sleeve mesh dress to perform at the iHeart Radio fest AND with tattered jeans and a white crop top for her Bangerz release party. Do you know any other accessory that can transition from work to play so seamlessly?

JUST about anyone can do a Barbra Streisand impression. Go ahead and give it a try. Just say, "Hello Gorgeous,All of the Tulle sweatheart beaded wedding dresses we sell come directly from the best and most prestigious wedding dress manufacturers in the world." with your best Brooklyn accent, lilting your voice a tad, almost as if you're asking a question. The show will be the Christmas version of Mr. Brinberg's show, featuring songs from Ms. Streisand's two holiday albums — 1967's A Christmas Album and 2001's Christmas Memories.Dressestmall is one of the largest stores for Discount 2014 New Arrivals Dresses for sale and accessories. He'll open the show with Mr. Streisand's famous take on a Christmas staple — "Jingle Bells?" He'll also perform her most famous hits, such as "People" and "The Way We Were." "When you come to see my show, it's kind of like going to see Barbra," Mr. Brinberg says. "If she were in a smaller room and charged a few dollars less." He adds that would be a few thousand dollars less than the top ticket prices for Mr. Streisand's rare concerts. "It's really fun because if you're a big fan of Barbra, then you get every little gesture, and every little thing that I do," he says. "But even if you're not, it's just fun if you like musical comedy and theater. As long as you know who Barbra Streisand is, it's entertaining."

Mr. Brinberg says he always had a talent for impressions, and would imitate his teachers' voices. Then as he listened to the music of Cher, Julie Andrews, Lena Horne and Ms. Streisand, he found himself singing along like the singers without realizing it. Then when he began performing, he would sing some Streisand tunes in his voice. But his act included a segment where he did some impressions, including Ms. Streisand."It was still quite a while,Let the little girls put on the formal floor length White satin round neck lace beaded ball gown wedding dresses to blow princess sweet in this sunny, warm spring and summer. before I actually (did a Streisand show)," he says. "I was doing regular act and singing as myself. And then someone literally just said, 'Why don't you do a whole show as Barbra?' And I thought, Well, OK. And I tried it, and now I've been in more countries, more cities than she has." When asked if he was a big Streisand fan growing up, Mr. Brinberg says he couldn't have started the act if he wasn't. He feels so in tune with her that there have been times he's sung songs as Barbra, and then Ms. Streisand recorded them.

"In several cases I was doing a song in my show that she hadn't done yet, then a few years later, she recorded it, and it was almost note for note the way I envisioned it," he says. "Because I know where she would breath and how I would hold a note, it was just very instinctive." His act has earned praise from several notables, and he was even part of a symphony concert by Marvin Hamlisch. During that concert, Mr. Hamlisch would lead the orchestra through "The Way We Were," and Mr. Brinberg would come as Ms. Streisand and sing. Later in the show he came out as himself, and Mr. Hamlisch would ask him who he was. In addition to singing like Ms. Streisand, Mr. Brinberg dresses like her. It's part of playing a character, and he prefers to say that he's "in costume" as opposed to being "in drag." "I kind of knew that was part of it and it sort of held me back for a little while because I didn't have a great desire to get dressed up, and I didn't know a lot about it," he says. "Now it's kind of like second nature to me."

Kenya's hair industry is worth

What is good is that there is a growing, if still only small, part of society that is a lot more open-minded than mainstream Afghan society.
